Following the successful completion of our 2020 Pre-Accelerator, we are pleased to announce our Accelerate Program has kicked off with an amazing cohort of startups & team of EiR’s.

During our short, 4-week recruitment campaign we were overwhelmed with applications from early stage, migrant-led startups across Australia. After a difficult selection process we finalised a cohort of 23 startups with 41 founders (54/46 female to male ratio) from 24 countries.

Over the following 12 weeks, the teams will work on a weekly sprint to reach key business milestones culminating in a virtual Demo Day event. In addition to weekly one-on-one’s with the Entrepreneurs in Residence, the teams will attend various practical workshops including Digital Marketing 101, Mindfulness & Wellbeing and Pitching & Storytelling. In the last month of the program, the cohort will go into preparation mode for our virtual Demo Day event (watch this space for details).

Over the years we’ve been privileged to have talented and accomplished EiR’s mentor our cohorts through the hectic journey that is entrepreneurship. While 2020 has turned everyone’s world upside down, we’ve managed to lock down some brilliant Entrepreneurs in Residence to help the cohort navigate through this unknown territory.

Winitha Bonney
